On behalf of the staff of El Dorado South Hindu School, I wish to express my warmest congratulations to both Mr. Jeewan Ramdhanie and Mrs Susan Ragoonanan on their recent promotions as Principals of the Riverside and Spring Village Hindu Schools, respectively.

 

Both Mr. Ramdhanie and Mrs Ragoonanan served El Dorado South Hindu School well over the last few years. Their dedication and commitment have certainly paid off and it is my firm conviction that they will serve their new schools even better.

 

I pray that they use their enthusiasm and interest for their new positions in a very positive way. They would both remember me saying repeatedly that a child is a ‘poor man’s riches’. You must both never lose sight of your main focus and objective: always do what is right.

 

As principals, you must now assume leadership roles. Be a model for the teachers around you and be proactive and progressive in your thinking and approach. Now, more than ever in the recent past, the job of a principal is a most trying one.

 

But, amidst all the difficulties is the fact that at the end of the day, what you do will make a significant difference in the lives of he children, their parents and the teachers around you. Such is the effect of a principal.

 

Having been around you for the last few years, I am confident that you would do a wonderful job.
